[Business Breakfast] ITIL 4: What’s new?

[Business Breakfast] ITIL 4: What’s new?

31 May 2019

Todays increasingly complex market requires companies to compete to ensure that they will stay relevant in the fast-pacing digital world. ITIL, a widely accepted approach to IT Service Management, enables them to support their organization on the journey to digital transformation. This year, ITIL is undergoing a new evolution, ITIL 4.

ITIL 4 reforms much of its best practices and incorporate new collaborative approaches that answer the needs of the modern world progressing technology. ITIL 4 helps to successfully navigate the modern digital world, provides a holistic picture of IT-enabled service delivery, reflects and integrates other established ways of working and most importantly – incorporates all the best things from ITIL.

On this occasion, Itecor is co-organizing with itSMF and Cerfi two business breakfast events in Lausanne and Geneva dedicated to the new ITIL 4.

ITIL is a widely adopted body of knowledge and best practices for successful IT Service Management. ITIL has evolved from the current version to ITIL 4 by re-shaping much of the established ITSM practices in the wider context of customer experience, embracing new collaborative approaches, such as Lean, Agile, and DevOps.

itSMF Switzerland is a non-profit association committed to promote, facilitate and recognize the strategic role of IT Service Management, the quality of the served IT Services to gain an even more strategic role within the enterprises.
